We never stop learning

Bachelor of Architecture

I completed my B.Arch with Honours at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Pretoria, South Africa in 2022

Adaptive Re-Use - Schubart Park Revamp

In this Project we were tasked to design alterations to an existing building. The final building had to contain the following:
Connection to existing buildings, public square, cultural facilities, sports facilities, and food courts/restaurants

TUT - $th Yr - Adaptive Re-Use

Maison du Croc
Cultural Development

This was a project for an African tribe, the Bethi Pahuin People, also known as the Fang People.

The Brief was to incorporate sustainible/alternative building materials to design a Cultural Centre as well as supporting buildings, which relates to them.

This project included doing construction drawings on certain prerequisites.

Distopia/Extraterrestrial

As part of my Architectural studies, our task was to design a Distopian/extraterrestrial building. I had to first create a photomontage/collage from existing buildings/designs by other designers, then create a flythrough.

The building was designed to be located on planet Trapist 1d to allow self sustainability. Inside the building is fruit trees and grass for enjoyment and to help building on oxygen. In seperate buildings outside more food sources such as fruit, vegetables & soy in one and a sewer plant in the other, which will help generating bio-gas.

Using Archicad, Rhinosceros, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Lightworks, this was my outcome.

ZaraGoza Park - Student Living

The Brief was to design a Re-Used Residential building to provide accommodation for students, young families and Professionals. A building for self sustained living.  It will contain shared rooms for students, 1,2, & 3 Bedroom units.

There will be on-site restaurants, a Community Centre, Arts Studio, Retail space, a Creche, Gym and other Recreational facilities as well as an open-air Auditorium space on the roof top.

The building will be powered by a combination of solar panels on the Auditorium roof structure, and windmills placed between the buildings which create a Venturi effect to increase the wind speed to improve wind-mill operation.
